    Information you give us

When you fill out an estimate request or contact form, or call, text or email us, we collect what you choose to share. That includes your name, phone number, email address, service address, the services you are interested in, and any details or photos you send about your property. If you become a customer, we also keep records of your service schedule, the work we do, and your estimates and invoices.

    Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, our site and our analytics and advertising partners automatically collect certain technical information. This includes your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how long you stay, the site that sent you to us, and your general location (city or region) based on your IP address. The section on cookies, analytics and advertising below explains how.

    Information from others

We may receive information about you from people who refer you to us, from review platforms, and from our advertising partners, such as whether you reached our site through one of our ads.

We do not ask for sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, health information or bank account numbers through our website. Please do not send it. If you pay an invoice online, your payment details are handled by our payment processor and we do not store your full card number.

  • How We Use It and Share it

    How we use it

To respond to your request and prepare your estimate

To schedule, perform and follow up on your service

To send appointment reminders, service updates, estimates and invoices

To send occasional offers and seasonal reminders, if you have agreed to receive them

To understand how people use our website so we can improve it

To measure our advertising and show our ads to people who are likely to need our services

To protect our business, prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations

Our forms and customer management system

Forms on our website send your submission directly to our customer relationship management (CRM) system, which our team uses to track estimate requests, schedule work and stay in touch with you. Our website host also stores a copy of each submission. Only our team and the companies that run these systems can access it, and those companies may use it only to provide their services to us.

    Who we share it with

We share personal information only with:

Service providers who help us run our business, such as our website host, CRM, email and text messaging providers, scheduling tools and payment processor

Google and Meta, for analytics and advertising, as described in the next section

Government authorities or other parties when the law requires it, or when needed to protect our rights, property or safety

A buyer or successor, if our business is ever sold or reorganized

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your mobile number or your consent to receive text messages with any third party for their own marketing.

  • Cookies/Analytics/Ads

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Pixels and tags are similar tools that let a website record activity. We use them for three purposes.

    Essential cookies

These keep the website working, for example by keeping our forms secure and remembering choices you make on the site.

    Analytics with Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use our website, such as which pages are viewed and which forms are submitted. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your IP address, device details and activity on our site. We do not use it to identify you personally. You can read how Google uses this information and opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

    Advertising with Google and Meta

We advertise on Google and on Meta platforms, including Facebook and Instagram. We use the Google tag and the Meta Pixel to measure when someone who clicked one of our ads goes on to request an estimate, and to show our ads to people who have visited our website before. Google and Meta may collect information about your activity on our site and combine it with information they already have about you, under their own privacy policies.

    Your cookie and ad choices

Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working.

Turn off personalized Google ads in My Ad Center.

Manage how Meta uses your activity in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences.

Opt out of interest-based ads from many companies at the Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative.

Opting out does not stop ads. It means the ads you see will be less tailored to you.

  • Children's Privacy

Our website and services are meant for adults and property owners. Our site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. We also do not knowingly use information from anyone under 16 for targeted advertising. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us at Office@mtwestlandscaping.com and we will delete it.

  • Your Choices and Rights

See, correct or delete your information. Ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. We may need to keep some records, such as invoices, where the law requires it.

Email. Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link.

Text messages. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them. See the text message terms below.

Advertising. Use the choices listed in the cookies, analytics and advertising section above.

Browser signals. Some browsers send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. Our site does not currently change how it works in response to them, but the choices above are always available to you.

Depending on where you live, state privacy laws may give you additional rights. Whatever state you live in, we will honor requests to see, correct or delete your information. To make a request, use the contact details at the bottom of this page. We will confirm your identity before acting on a request, and you may ask someone to make a request for you with your written permission. We will never treat you differently for using your privacy choices.

  • Security and Retention

    Keeping your information safe

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information and limit access to the people who need it to serve you. No website or online system is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

    How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, such as while you are a customer, for a reasonable time afterward, and as long as tax and business records require. When we no longer need it, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.

    Other websites

Our site links to other websites, such as review platforms and social media. Their privacy practices are their own, so please review their policies.

    Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services, tools or the law change. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top.
